Dhara J. Trivedi has been appointed assistant professor of physics at Clarkson University.
She previously served as a visiting assistant professor of physics at Clarkson and as a postdoctoral fellow at Northwestern University.
Trivedi received her Ph.D. and master of arts degrees in physics from the University of Rochester, her master of science in physics from Gujarat University, and her bachelor of science in physics and mathematics from St. Xavier’s College, Gujarat University.
Her research interests focus on developing new methods for problems in nanotechnology, energy and charge transfer in complex condensed-phase chemical and biological environments, and properties of materials.
Trivedi has co-authored a book chapter in Computational Photocatalysis: Modeling of Photophysics and Photochemistry at Interfaces and another in Green Processes for Nanotechnology.
She has published in Nano Letters, Physical Review A, Journal of Chemical Theory and Computation, Journal of the Physical Society of Japan, and Journal of Physical Chemistry A, among other publications, as well as in conference proceedings, contributed talks and contributed posters.
Trivedi is a member of the American Physical Society, American Chemical Society, and Optical Society of America.
