Clarkson Office of Information Technology is proceeding with a campus-wide shift to Windows 11 in 2025. Windows 11 is now the standard Operating System for all new and compatible Clarkson owned devices. Faculty and staff members must schedule their devices to be updated to Windows 11 below. Turnitin recently notified Clarkson that the e-Rater grammar checking service is no longer available beginning December 31, 2024. FortiClient to replace CISCO as Clarkson’s VPN, Action Required for Community

Clarkson’s Office of Information Technology shares that Clarkson’s VPN client has changed from CISCO to FortiClient. This means students, faculty and staff using the CISCO client must switch to FortiClient. To switch, you will complete a one-time install to set up FortiClient on each device.
