Clean out food and beverage containers before recycling them

The Institute of Sustainability conducted a recycling audit on February 4th using recycling waste from Moore House and Hamlin/Powers. Several containers with food still in them were found. Any food or beverage containers not cleaned out properly before being recycled is considered contamination. Enough contamination will force Casella staff to dump the recycling bin contents
