Ignite Masterclass Series: Innovation Mindset Masterclass

In this masterclass, attendees will learn what makes an innovative mind, and how diverse and inclusive teams empower these minds to solve complex or multidimensional problems. Attendees will walk away with the ability to foster the innovation mindset in their current teams, and the ability to build innovative teams from the ground up through a holistic “value-add” process. Teams will be tasked with building an effective product development team for a new product based on the attributes of the innovation mindset. They will not only look at applicants’ technical abilities, but also for other experiences or skills that could add value to the development team.

Yang Yang Appointed Assistant Professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Clarkson University

Yang Yang has been appointed assistant professor of civil & environmental engineering at Clarkson University. He received his Ph.D. in environmental engineering from Tsinghua University and his bachelor of engineering in environmental engineering from  South China University of Technology. Yang’s research interests include the synthesis and characterization of advanced nanomaterials, and their environmental catalytic applications
