Clarkson University to Host Annual Warrior Fest, February 16

Clarkson University will host the fourth annual Warrior Fest next month.

The event celebrates and supports the contributions of veterans in the North Country. Warrior Fest is open to the public and is fun for the whole family.

Warrior Fest is from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, February 16.

The evening will feature several raffles and giveaways and a sled hockey match between the Fort Drum Mountain Wounded Warriors and the Kingston (Ontario) Knights. The puck drops 3:15 p.m. in Cheel Arena.

The sled hockey game will be preceded by the annual cadet cup challenge ice hockey contest between the cadets in Clarkson’s nationally ranked Army and Air Force ROTC programs at 1:15 pm.

The cost per person over the age of 12 is $5, and children under 12 are free. Family packs are available for $10. The first 200 tickets sold will include a free hot dog and soda during the event.

All proceeds from Warrior Fest will support the Fort Drum Mountain Warriors team and the ROTC cadet programs at Clarkson University.
