Poll Everywhere Pilot at Clarkson

Faculty are invited to join a Clarkson sponsored pilot this Spring using Poll Everywhere.  Poll Everywhere is an online polling application popular among educators today (more below).

As a pilot participant, you get free, unlimited access to Poll Everywhere’s premier features to use with students in your classes along with support from the TLC for training and development.  You can begin polling as early as Feb 18 and continue until March 15. Pilot Sign Up HERE.

Why join this pilot?  Clarkson’s Teaching & Learning Corner is currently evaluating available options for taking attendance in class, as well as conducting engagement activities with students.  As a participant, you help determine the value, ease of use and cost/benefit when considering a university subscription to the service.

When you join the pilot, we hope you will try polling in at least one of your classes (or as often as you like) during the polling period and provide feedback about your experience.  TLC will provide ongoing support and training. At the conclusion, you will be asked to complete a brief survey and/or attend a focus group meeting. In exchange, you gain access to an exciting new tool that could impact the way you teach going forward!

If you currently have a Poll Everywhere account, your account will transfer to the pilot.  Any pre-existing data and polls stay with you. When the pilot is over, your account returns to its previous level – data and polls stay with you.

Sign up HERE right away.  Pilot starts 2/18!
