CURE Starts Monday

Coffee starts at 8a in Multipurpose Rooms ABC, Student Center (#15 on map) each day – May 13, 14, and May 15.  Please be encouraged to grab coffee with us each day!

Clarkson Unconference Refresh Event Clarkson faculty and experts alike are encouraged to come together to share information about project aspirations and challenges we face.

Monday’s CURE CHALLENGE: Identify one thing you want to accomplish this summer and be ready to talk about it for 5 mins or less (1 slide optional).

Monday, 5/13:

9:00a Share from the floor – Everyone present is encouraged to briefly share information about a current project, initiative or challenge.  (See CHALLENGE above) 
10:30a Break for independent work
3:00p Reconvene for CURE Activity:

  • Nature Walk with Tom Langen: (Meet at Adirondack Lodge)
  • Cycling Tour with Kerop Janoyan: (Meet at Java City Patio)
  • Makerspace Demo with Erin Draper: (First Floor ERC)

9:00a Takeaways and Connections from Monday – Everyone is encouraged back to explore further what we started on Monday = looking to make connections, possible options for collaboration, next steps and solution.

3:30p Meet at MPRs for walk/drive to social @ Maxfields

Wednesday, 5/15:

9a Final Thoughts

CURE is hosted by Clarkson’s Institute for STEM Ed’s Workshops/Talkshops/Thoughtshops Task Force with the goal to provide opportunity for the CU community, and others to share ideas, identify collaborators and develop strategies for improving STEM education.
