Fall 2019 eBill/Nelnet Reminder

This is a reminder to the postcard that was sent to you earlier in the summer regarding the University’s new Sustainability Initiative starting with the Fall 2019 term involving Nelnet Campus Commerce and eBilling.  We are only intending to generate bills in electronic form staring with the Fall 2019 term going forward.
Benefits of eBilling include:

  • Improved Timing – Access to your eBill much sooner in comparison to receiving a paper bill.
  • Improved Accuracy – Nelnet allows you the ability to access your student account transactions in Real-Time.
  • Improved Communication – You will receive an email to make you aware of whenever a new eBill is generated for you.  You will also have the option of setting up text reminders.  Nelnet also allows for students to Authorize Parties (such as parents), where Authorized Parities will have their own access to your student account information.  Furthermore, Authorized Parties will receive emails whenever a new eBill is generated.
  • Improved Ease of Payment – Nelnet accepts online payments (which is optional), so instead of mailing a paper check, save the cost of a stamp and make an eCheck (ACH) payment.

The Fall 2019 eBills are expected to be generated in mid-July (for semester & trimester students), so please keep an eye out for an email from Nelnet indicating as such.

Please feel free to forward this email to anyone you feel may have a vested interest in your eBill, such as a parent or sponsor.
For questions regarding the new Ebill initiative, please contact the Student Administrative Service Office at sas@clarkson.edu.
