OIT Help Desk Changes

New Location

Help Desk moved to ERC 2nd Floor

We are very pleased to announce that the OIT HelpDesk has moved to the 2nd Floor of the Education Resource Center (ERC).  This is more centrally located to the academic spaces on campus and has already proven to be more convenient to a larger portion of the campus community.

This space was recently renovated and beginning in the Spring of 2019 was staffed with student workers, but is now the new home of full-time staff members Kurt Besaw and John Herrick.  Stop by and say “Hi”.

We will continue to have several student workers throughout the summer and into the academic year.

New Look

New Knowledgebase portal goes live 8/19/2019

We are revamping the OIT Knowledgebase with a new look and feel.  (Click here to get a sneak peek!)  The new interface will go live Monday, August 19th, 2019.

In addition to being more of a graphical user interface for commonly accessed articles, the new Knowledgebase also shows the current network status and will display a “flyout” window in the upper right-hand corner when there is a service outage or maintenance.
