Dear faculty and staff,
Since I know many of you are involved in community service, I am writing to ask if you know of additional local service organizations seeking student volunteers that are not already included on our website: clarkson.edu/volunteering.
The Office of Student Life seeks to share volunteer opportunities with our students in two ways:
1) We list ongoing opportunities on our website, clarkson.edu/volunteering. These online listings can be added at any time, but we work to have the list updated each year by the first week in October.
2) We send a weekly email including local service opportunities to students who have indicated an interest in service. Our community partners may send us requests for volunteers two weeks in advance and we send these opportunities to our list of students. Students (or faculty and staff!) can be added to this email list at any time by emailing studentlife@clarkson.edu with the subject line “Service.”
