Don’t Cancel Class!
If you’re going to miss class, the Writing Center can fill in with a customized workshop. Give us two weeks notice and some time to consult with you and we can prepare and deliver a 30 – 50 minute workshop or interactive presentation.
We are developing presentations on the following, but you may also propose your own topic.1) Writing to be Read2) Don’t click “Send” on that email3) Professional Style is a Dialect 4) Commas really do Matter5) Sentence Flow means Information Processing6) Avoid Data Dumping in Lit Reviews and Results sections7) Communicating Technical Information to the General Public8) Proposal or Grant Writing
You may also require that students bring work to the Writing Center. Students would make individual appointments by getting the link through our website at sites.clarkson.edu/cuwrite or by emailing wcenter@clarkson.edu.
