The University Libraries will continue our spring workshop series for Grad students with: Data Visualization!

This workshop is designed to increase your familiarity with basic principles of designing meaningful data visualizations. 

Following a discussion of how the brain “preattentive processing” handles visual information, the workshop will cover basic principles for determining the best visualization to use given your message, audience and the type of data you are working with.
