General Tips
- Approach online courses and studying just like you would if you were sitting in a classroom, right under a professor’s nose.
- Keep a structured schedule. Employ the 9-5 mentality. This is your job!
- Be consistent and disciplined. Create a daily list of what you need to do/accomplish.
- Set up a dedicated study space. Keep it organized, and limit distractions.
- Your professors are working diligently to modify and transition their course material to an online format. Please read carefully and completely all correspondence from your professors.
- Communicate with your professors. If you have any confusion or questions, reach out ASAP! Please be patient with your faculty and other students as we all adjust to a new learning platform.
- Read your emails daily. This will be more important than ever!
- Take care of your physical and mental health. Take breaks to optimize focus and productivity.
