Seminar: Integrating UN Sustainable Development Goals into your Teaching

STEM Ed and ISE seminar Weds July 22, 2pm https://clarkson.zoom.us/j/96883248398 Clarkson’s Department of Education adjunct faculty member Leigh Feguer engaged with educators from across the world in the Teaching the Sustainable Development Goals 2015-2030 course. In this course participants were challenged to draw connections between their content areas and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals initiative. Leigh will provide an overview of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, the challenges with governance of the goals, and the role education plays in developing global citizens.

Leigh is a Schenectady High School biology teacher and National Board Certified Teacher. She is an adjunct faculty member of the Department of Education where she teaches Science Methods and mentors graduate candidates in their full-year residencies.
