BLAC is an acronym for Black Leaders Advocate for Change. BLAC is a student-led independent caucus that meets with administration such as University President Tony Collins, Chief Inclusion Officer and more. Our mission is dedicated to improving the racial diversity and inclusion on Clarkson University’s campus. BLAC is committed to creating equal treatment and the elimination of discrimination in all forms at all levels on the campus. We meet monthly with University President Tony Collins to discuss the demands to improve the racial injustices on this campus, how to make this campus better for you and more.
On Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 7pm, we are hosting an Exclusively Black Meeting where we will discuss the actions that BLAC has already taken and the steps moving forward. In this meeting we will discuss a few topics such as Who We Are, Upcoming events such as A Career Fair Exclusively for Minority Students, Black Solidarity Day and we will also discuss how you can be part of the BLAC Executive Committee.
