Hello, ISE intern, Patrick Maciel, recently created this video as a virtual tour submission to the New York Consortium for Sustainability in Higher Education conference. The video covers some of the projects we’ve been working on as part of the FY 2020 Sustainability Fund. Check out the video to see what we’ve been up to and learn about our natural resources. The projects mentioned include:
- A forest inventory for the woods on the hill campus
- The development of our Campus Forests Task Force to manage our wild spaces
- New signage including trailhead kiosks, interpretive signs, you are here signs, ski etiquette, etc.
- Several low-mow zones in peripheral areas of campus (bird houses and signage to come)
- A lean-to in the back of the Clarkson Woods that was built by CUOC
