COVID Read: Clarkson Campus Access Limited to Authorized Individuals / Sledding Hill Closed to Public

The Clarkson University campus in Potsdam is open only to authorized visitors, employees and students as well as vendors making pre-arranged deliveries.

This includes the usage of the Clarkson “Sledding Hill” off of Clarkson Avenue, which we are reserving for only Clarkson students to use as part of keeping their campus-based outdoor activities available to them and in an environment where there is ongoing testing and surveillance for COVID-19.

While the sledding hill is closed to the public, the Munter Trail will remain open for the Potsdam Community to use.  We ask everyone to follow social distancing protocols and wear a mask when they see others on the trail.

This is a reminder that family members/children who do not work at or attend the University should not be on campus during our COVID-19 restrictions.

For Admissions, we are welcoming future students and up to two guests to tour campus. For more information on how to make an appointment, click here. At this time, we are only able to welcome guests for on-campus visits who are traveling to Clarkson from states contiguous to New York. Visitors from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Connecticut or Vermont are welcome to visit if everyone in the party is able to provide satisfactory answers on the health screening form required the day of the visit. All visitors are required to wear face masks (able to cover both the nose and mouth) at all times during their visit. Neck gaiters are not acceptable face coverings.
