Writing Center Undergraduate Peer Tutors are Available

If your undergraduate students need help writing…..
the Writing Center undergraduate peer tutors are at their stations!  We can help students with conceptualizing their response or with ironing out their sentences.  We can help at any level.  The link to our website should be pre-loaded on your class Moodle page, but students often forget or don’t think they need us.
If YOU think some of your students need some writing help, please encourage them to come to us.  We offer zoom appointments during a range of dates and times which can be found on our appointment calendar.  I am also attaching a ‘poster’ on the various ways to find this calendar.  If you would like copies to hand out in class, let me know!! Hand-outs may be old fashioned, but sometimes they’re easier to find than links.
Our hours are  Daytimes: Monday 11am – 3pm, Wed 11 – 5, Thurs 11 – 4, Friday 1-3pm
Evenings: Monday 430 – 6:30 pm, Tues 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Wed 5:00 – 7:30 pm, Sundays 6:00 to 8:00 p.m

You can send students to an orientation to our website.  The CUWrite site has gotten richer over the years including sections on writing in the sciences, engineering and business.  Please check it out at sites.clarkson.edu/CUWrite.

The director is available to discuss with you ways that we might bring tutors or presentations on components of good writing  into your class or to zoom into your class to introduce them to the Writing Center. Contact the director, Catherine Sajna at csajna@clarkson.edu
