A Trip Back in Time
With all their devices and high-tech toys, kids today may have a hard time imagining what life was like for children of the past. Now they can hear about it for themselves at the North Country Children’s Museum in an interactive audio and touch-screen exhibit, created in part by Clarkson Professor Laura Ettinger and her students. Seeing the Future
When they created a pandemic simulation a few years ago, little did two Clarkson professors know how relevant it would be today. In the course Violence and Reconciliation, co-taught by the pair, students engage in the simulation to explore the aftermath of a pandemic. Thorpe’s National Presence
One of Clarkson’s own will have a say in directing the country’s engineering and defense R&D policies and programs. Professor of Computer Science Chuck Thorpe was recently named chair of the IEEE USA Research & Development Policy Committee. READ MORE
