Clarkson University recently joined over 150 educational institutions in partnering with HighPoint Solutions, a leader in student achievement solutions for PeopleSoft Higher Education. This partnership will allow Clarkson to deliver an improved user experience for students, advisors, faculty and staff across the University.
We will be employing the following suite of student achievement tools integrated within myCU that will leverage data in real time.
Schedule Builder – gives students an easy way to build a perfect schedule that accommodates their life outside of school. Students are able to find the right schedule to complete their degree on time.
Course Auditor – ensures students take classes that qualify for Federal Financial Aid. Simplify the enrollment process by instantly notifying students of courses that will or will not qualify.
Campus Experience – provides a secure, fast, and easy way to navigate myCU for students. Making it easier for students to manage classes, Financial Aid, administrative tasks, career path exploration, and communications.
Degree Planner – automatically helps students identify the courses they should take to graduate and clearly indicates the sequence in which to take them. Students can explore various scenarios and see which plan fits their needs to graduate on time.
We are currently in the process of implementing schedule builder, course auditor and campus experience. Our current timeline is to have schedule builder available on March 12, 2021 for the Fall 2021 enrollment – watch for additional information – with course auditor and campus experience fully implemented by the end of June 2021. Degree Planner will start in July 2021 with an implementation date in December 2021.
