  • Mask Wearing Continues for All Members of Our Community

Potsdam Employees,

Thank you all for your continued commitment to our students as undergraduate and most graduate programs are now in the homestretch for the Spring Semester.  We look forward to all employees returning to in person work next month.

All interim COVID-19 related policies for employees can be found at https://confluence.clarkson.edu/display/UPR/COVID-19+Interim+Policies.

We will begin to resume in person meetings on April 7, 2021 as are part of University business operations. Meetings must be in spaces that can accommodate social distancing and are limited to up to 25 in attendance inclusive of one-on-one meetings and department /University meetings. All attendees must wear masks.  Please be mindful of the room occupancy limits.  You can reserve right-sized space through roomreservations@clarkson.edu. At this time, food or beverages are not permitted to be served at these meetings.  Just like we do in classrooms, there must be a contact tracing list kept and a seating chart (or use the QR codes at each seat.)

We understand that many employees are now fully vaccinated and/or in the process of completing their vaccinations.  While CDC guidance indicates vaccinated people can get together without masks, we are asking all employees to continue to role-model mask wearing for our students and to wear a mask when around others indoors and when appropriate social distancing is not possible.

If you are travelling for personal reasons please complete a personal travel form.  For essential  business travel submit a pre -travel authorization form, the University will continue to evaluate business travel.  For all travel that is out of state, employees must submit a negative COVID-19 test to Human Resources prior to returning to campus.

With limited exceptions, non-essential visitors are not permitted on campus until further notice. All contractors, vendors, tenants, and other visitors (including those who may be considered essential) must be approved through Human Resources first. Please complete the form here at least 72 hours prior to your anticipated need for the visitor(s) to arrive on campus.

Thank you.
