Message From the Dean
These are exciting times for the Reh School of Business. Our graduate and undergraduate programs continue to be ranked among the top in the nation, which is a tribute to the exceptional educational experience we offer and the outstanding talent we attract. This year, we welcome to the Reh School four assistant professors who are already excelling in their fields — Professors Qingran Li and Jehu Mette in economics, Hongjun Ye in marketing and Elif Ozgormus in engineering management. We are also excited to welcome Professor Christian Felzensztein, a world-renowned scholar in the area of entrepreneurship, who has been appointed as the Reh Family Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurial Leadership. I believe Christian and the others will be highly complementary to the Reh School’s teaching and research strengths and superb additions to Clarkson’s community.
The Reh School continues to play a leading role in the University’s anti-racism efforts, and that has been reflected in an interim change of leadership, with Professor Augustine Lado taking the position of senior advisor to the President on anti-racism and myself as interim dean. In addition, to support our investments on talent and diversity, Professor Bebonchu Atems will lead the school’s efforts on faculty advancement and achievements.

A New Role
During his time in the Reh School of Business, Professor Diego Nocetti has already taken on his fair share of policymaking and leadership roles. As of this past July, he has one more: interim dean. We are pleased to welcome Nocetti to this role and look forward to his leadership and the wealth of decision analysis knowledge he brings. READ MORE
Combatting Racism
Moving from one pivotal role to another, Professor Augustine Lado is taking a year off from Reh School deanship to lead anti-racism initiatives at Clarkson. He is the new senior advisor to the President on anti-racism, a position in which he hopes “to find new ways to use our values, our education and our research for the public good to help combat systemic racism across our society.” READ MORE

A Bright Star
Ten years after joining the faculty at Clarkson, Bebonchu Atems has been promoted to full professor of economics & financial studies. An accomplished scholar and educator, Atems was also recently appointed as the Reh School’s associate dean of faculty advancement and achievement. Congratulations to one of our bright young stars!
