Library Workshop: Make your sources work for you!

Dear Clarkson Students,

The Clarkson University Libraries workshops series will continue with The art of persuasion: Make your sources work for you Tuesday, Oct. 19 at 5pm via Zoom

Description: Are you unsure what your professors mean by “synthesizing” your sources? Do you struggle to integrate your sources into your paper? Do you feel like your paper reads awkwardly and unnaturally? In this workshop we’ll talk about ways to successfully integrate your sources into your paper in a natural, conversational way. We’ll also briefly discuss how to get citation assistance and where to get Zotero Citation Manager and Zotero help.

Other workshops will include:

  • Who wrote that? Being wary on the web, Tues. Nov. 2 at 5pm
  • Is it shareworthy? Becoming a more sophisticated social media user, Tues, Nov. 16 at 5pm
