Associated Colleges Sustainability Day – Call for workshops, panels, presentations

Mark your calendars for the Earth Day 2022 Associated Colleges Sustainability Day (4/22) and Green Living Fair (4/23).   The keynote presentation is by Robin Wall Kimmerer, PhD, a mother, scientist, decorated professor, and enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. She is the author of widely acclaimed book Braiding Sweetgrass. Her scholarly work on restoration not only includes restoration of ecological communities, but restoration of our relationships to land.

And NOW is the time to consider integrating aspects of this event into your spring syllabi and presenting your research project or class work at the event. Proposals for presentations, workshops, panels, performances or other creative endeavors are now being solicited (link to submission information) for the Fri. 4/22, University-focused Sustainability Day (deadline January 21).  Exhibits, tables or displays for the community-focused see Green Living Fair (4/23) for registration details.

This earth day event is coordinated by NoCoPEACS (North Country Partnership for Environmental Action, Community, and Sustainability)
