Message From the Dean

Hello again! Another semester is underway with our unique approach to business education and leadership development.

Our first-year students taking Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation are preparing business plans to present to potential investors at the end of the semester and to launch their business ventures next semester. Their innovative proposals include a product to reduce anxiety in children, a holistic hockey academy and a trendy line of Clarkson clothing whose proceeds will go to the Student Emergency Fund.

Students taking Professional Fund Management are actively managing a portion of the University’s endowment worth almost $400,000. Over the last year, the fund’s rate of return has been an astonishing 48%, beating the S&P 500 index by a wide margin.

With the border reopening, students enrolled in Global Business Strategies have been travelling to Canada and meeting with business executives — many of them Clarkson alumni — to learn about the intricacies of business leadership in highly disrupted workplaces and global markets.

Our students are also learning and applying marketing analytics knowledge, game theory, negotiation strategies, project management skills, supply chain strategies and so much more. No wonder Reh School graduates enjoy 99% placement rates and some of the best starting salaries in the nation!

And there is so much more going on at the Reh School.

Below you can read about the continued success of our online graduate programs, two of our
outstanding alums and some of the latest research presentations in our seminar series.
