Zoom Single Sign-On (SSO)

All Clarkson Zoom users should note that single sign-on (SSO) is now the singular option for signing in to your Zoom account. If you are experiencing an issue accessing your Zoom account it may be that you are attempting to use an older bookmark or a linked account like Google or Facebook to sign in to Zoom. To resolve, simply go to https://clarkson.zoom.us – click Sign In and follow prompts to login.

Previously Announced:

Starting January 3, 2022, all users who previously used bookmarks and/or linked accounts like Google or Facebook to sign in to Zoom, will need to update to single sign-on (SSO). When users select SSO, they sign in using the same Clarkson CAS and DUO two-factor login process as used in other apps provided by Clarkson, like Moodle, myCU, intranet.clarkson.edu and more. For many users, this update will be transparent as they are already using SSO to sign in to Zoom.

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) implemented this update January 3, 2022 in alignment with the campus Information Security Plan, and is recommended by Zoom as a proactive measure to prevent username and password combinations from being stolen or compromised.
