Clarkson Undergraduate Student to Present at Greater New York American College of Sports Medicine Spring Meeting

Nathalie Barrios ‘22 a math and psychology major at Clarkson University from Stratford, Conn., and Ali Boolani, an associate professor of physical therapy in the Lewis School of Health Sciences, will co-present their research next month at the annual spring meeting of the Greater New York American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) regional chapter.

This year’s theme is “Applied Technology in Fitness and Health: From Stone Age to Star Wars”.  Barrios and Boolani will present on the topic of “Using machine learning to identify feelings of energy and fatigue in human movement” on Saturday, April 9, 2022.

Nathalie will be presenting her two studies that were recently accepted for publication in the Journal of Aquatic Physical Therapy.
