The Conversation Diversity Initiative Event
Thursday, April 28, 1-2 p.m. (EDT)
This session is exclusively for scholars at schools that are supporting our Diversity Initiative. Our initiative is designed to help make experts who inform the public look more like America as a whole.
During the session, editors will give a short introduction to The Conversation’s unique model of journalism, including how we work with academics to produce stories that are timely, informative and of interest to general readers. We hope to discuss your story ideas as well.
In 2021, TCUS stories averaged nearly 20 million pageviews per month on our site and through online republishers. About 50% of scholars are contacted by additional media outlets after writing a story with us.
