Shout-Outs from the Women Faculty Lunch

At the recent Women Faculty Lunch some great news was shared by attendees and the ADVANCE grant team wanted to share more widely:

  • Lisa Legault for being awarded the Clarkson Excellence in Research and Scholarship Award
  • Laura Ettinger for being awarded the Clarkson Distinction in Faculty Mentoring for Research and Scholarship Award
  • Qingran Li and Sue Powers for receiving the Clarkson Team Science Project Planning Grant
  • Ying Zhang just completed her first year at Clarkson and recently published her third paper of the year
  • Lisa Podlaha-Murphy was just elected the Electrochemical Society Treasurer
  • Golshan Madraki is the recipient of an American Association of University Women (AAUW) Research Grant for the 2022-23 award year
  • Catherine Snyder secured grant funding to bring the outstanding Rise High community-based program into Clarkson. This program supports high need Schenectady middle and high school students annually.
