CCIA’s Winter Clothing Drive!

CCIA Introduction
The Clarkson Clothing Insecurity Association is a brand new club that is devoted to helping members of the Clarkson and Potsdam community obtain clothing, shoes, and cold weather gear. An idea that originated as a course assignment to investigate real-world problems inspired our vision of implementing a solution to help those in our community by facilitating the donation of clothing items from those with surplus and distributing them to those in need.

If you’d like more information regarding CCIA, are interested in joining, or are willing to volunteer your time, email Beth Poirier at poirieej@clarkson.edu.

CCIA Winter Clothing Drive
A large number of Clarkson students, especially within the first-year and transfer student groups, have not experienced a north country winter and therefore may not be equipped with the clothes, footwear, coats, outdoor gear, etc. that they’ll need in the coming months. In an effort to help, we are hosting our first winter clothing drive!

Please consider donating any lightly worn, in good condition winter attire that you or your family can spare. Consider taking a look through your closets at home and bringing back anything that isn’t serving you or your family. Beginning October 17th through November 11th, donations can be dropped off at any of the locations listed below or even picked up at an on-campus location (email Beth Poirier at poirieej@clarkson.edu to arrange pick up!)
