The ISE is leading an effort to carry out thorough food waste audits at 5 universities in NYS. This work will help institutions understand their food waste quantities and identify appropriate solutions for diverting organic resources from the landfill. Our first audit will be Clarkson and will take place next week. We need volunteers to help us measure food waste during meal times throughout the week. Please consider signing up to help this project that will hopefully realize an environmental benefit beyond the Clarkson boundaries.
