Fundamentals of Engineering Exam Information Session – 5 pm – CAMP 176 – Friday 4 November 2022

CSOE and E&M Seniors as well as CSOE Graduate Students,

On behalf of the Coulter School of Engineering, as you may have seen on the concerto boards around campus, we will be hosting an information session on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam and professional licensure this Friday, 4 November 2022, at 5 pm in CAMP 176 (or Zoom for those that register, see the attached).

All of you have now made a significant investment in your future by getting an engineering degree at Clarkson.  Graduating with a BS in engineering is merely the first step in attaining the full recognition by becoming a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).  At this information session, you can learn more about the path to licensure (inclusive of how graduate school may fit into that path), why it is important to pursue licensure as a career goal, and how to take the critical next step by taking & passing the FE Exam.  We will be joined by Mr. Don Nims (CivE ’81), P.E., the Hydropower Practice Leader at Bergmann (a civil/architectural/structural, mechanical/plumbing/HVAC, and electrical/hydropower engineering firm:  https://www.bergmannpc.com/) who will relay information from the industry/practicing engineer perspective.

Please plan on joining us on Friday at 5 pm to learn more!
