Ignite is pleased to announce their next speaker series guest: Thomas McCarty, Chief Financial Officer (CF) of NuMED. Tom will share his journey to his present position of CFO at NuMED, which is an internationally acclaimed creator and manufacturer of the most advanced and highest quality devices for diagnosing and treating congenital heart conditions or peripheral vascular disease. Through the help of a worldwide network of partners, they have improved the lives of patients in more than 100 countries by supplying the most comprehensive portfolio of innovative products, with a focus on pediatrics.
NuMED has been an integral part of the interventional community for over three decades. NuMED was a founding sponsor of PICS and has supported this important organization every year since its inception in 1997. Tom joined NuMED in May of 2012 as the CFO and is responsible for managing the financial affairs of the Company and assists in overseeing all accounting, human resources, and customer service functions of the company. He is a member of the Company’s Executive Management Team and serves as the Corporate Secretary and Treasurer.
Tom is also an entrepreneur who has operated a small business consulting firm for the past 25 years, leveraging his three decades of finance experience in helping startup-ups, growth companies, and mature businesses through a variety of challenges and opportunities.
