Bioethics Minor Lecture Series Continues on February 15, 2023

Dr. Pilkinton

After a twenty-plus year history of providing graduate level training in bioethics through the Master of Science in Bioethics program, the Bioethics Department of the Lewis School of Health Science will start a new era of undergraduate bioethics education at Clarkson. Starting in fall 2023, Clarkson University undergraduate students will have the option to complement their major study program with a new minor in Bioethics. A National Endowment for the Humanities Connections grant supported the development of the minor and will sponsor a lecture series to celebrate the launch of the Bioethics Minor. The second lecture in the series will occur on Wednesday February 15, 2023 at noon EST on Zoom. Dr. Bryan Pilkington of School of Health and Medical Sciences at Seton Hall University will give a talk entitled, “Dignity’s Complicated Role within Bioethics – A Conceptual History.”
