Request Fall 2023 Courses in Moodle4 By July 4th

If you are faculty teaching this Fall, you are asked to create your Moodle course from PeopleSoft Faculty Center before the 4th of July. By doing so, you help prevent a backlog of work and possible delays in the weeks leading up to the Fall terms.

Success Note: Early bird requests have generated nearly one third of Fall course creations in Moodle4, with 100 course imports in Moodle 4 now complete. This is encouraging and these courses are now ready for further editing at the instructor’s convenience.

Lots of Work to Do: This leaves two-thirds or 400+ courses that still need to create and import before Fall classes begin. The time to act is now. We encourage you to request your course early. Requests will be processed in the order they are received. You should Act Now to avoid getting stuck in the back of the line later this summer.

If you have not already created your Fall Moodle course, please take these two-steps by July 4, 2023:

  1. From your Peoplesoft Faculty Center, request your Fall 2023 Moodle course(s) now.
  2. Next, please respond to the RT email that will follow to tell us which specific course you wish to import from your prior terms Moodle.

That’s it! We will be working throughout the Summer to import your courses into Moodle 4 and you will receive an update when things are ready for you to proceed with making edits to your Fall 2023 course.
