Please join us in wishing Barbara Charleson congratulations on her retirement after 38 years with Clarkson University. Barb’s last day of employment will be July 7. We wish Barb much happiness and encourage the campus community to stop at the Student Mailroom or send her a note to wish her well.
Barb started with Clarkson University in a temporary position to assist with the University’s switchboard and within weeks moved into a temporary role with Business Services in the Duplicating and Mailroom areas. After less than two years, Barb accepted a full time position with Clarkson University as the Senior Postal Clerk in the Student Mailroom. Barb has filled this role over the last 36 years during many changes, including two mailroom location moves, while consistently remaining dedicated to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the student mail services.
Barb has established lifetime relationships with her student employees, co-workers and numerous members of the wider Clarkson community. Her presence in the Student Center will certainly be missed.
We would like to thank Barb for her accomplishments and devoted service over the years.
