Sponsored Research Services (SRS) and Clarkson Ignite will collaboratively host the Research and Projects Showcase (RAPS) summer edition on Thursday, July 27.

RAPS is a forum for student presentations on research and independent projects, or other educational activities such as internships, co-ops, and study abroad experiences. Creative projects, designs, business plans, and other activities are welcome. Presentations may be given orally and/or as a poster presentation. Oral Presentations are short (9-10 minute) presentations. With an additional 3-4 minutes reserved for Q&A. Presenters must bring slides with them and/or log into their Clarkson account to access presentation materials before the start of their assigned session.
Poster Presentations are short (3-minute) elevator pitches followed by interactive dialog with the public. Presenters are required to stay at their poster for the entire hour and a half block.
Awards for Session High Scorers in each category will be announced at the RAPS Awards Ceremony on Thursday, July 27 at 4:00pm in the ERC. Specialty prizes for sustainability and the new commercializing technology will also be awarded. Note: both specialty prizes are only available to the poster session.
Please encourage your students to participate: they can give oral presentations and/or present posters. We hope that you will also attend to support your students and their research. Faculty, please consider assisting by serving as a chair and/or judges on event day. If you are interested in judging, please email raps@clarkson.edu.
Both oral and poster sessions will take place in the Educational Resource Center (ERC).
