August 1, 2023 is the deadline to submit your Fall 2023 Moodle course import instructions. Faculty are asked to please act today to (1) request your Fall 2023 course in Moodle; and (2) reply to RT with your Fall 2023 Moodle course import instructions via RT.
Time is running out. To ensure we have the capacity to import course content in time for the start of class, the Teaching & Learning Corner team is asking for you to submit your course import requests prior to Aug 1. Submissions received after this date run the risk of not being imported in time for classes to begin August 29, 2023.
Steps:
- From your Peoplesoft Faculty Center, request your Fall 2023 Moodle course(s) now.
- Next, reply to the RT email (sample below) that follows to indicate which specific course you wish to import from your prior terms Moodle.
SAMPLE: [rt.clarkson.edu #1111] AutoReply: [Moodle Course Request] Instructor First Last – Fall 2023 – Course #.
During this migration from Moodle 3 to Moodle 4 (more info about Moodle migration project), the TLC team must complete this import for instructors. Or simply reply to indicate if you do not wish to have anything imported.

As of 7/24/23, 47% of Fall 2023 courses still need to be imported to Moodle 4.
