Move-in Day is Friday 8/25, and we need your help! We are looking for Staff and Faculty to come help us to welcome our newest Clarkson class with open arms, and smiling faces. So much of the student’s and family members’ experience dropping their student(s) off to use is impacted by those who are here to greet them, help them, and guide them during their first few hours and days here. As a staff or faculty member helping with the move-in crew allows you to provide a huge benefit and relief to the newest Clarkson community members.
Roles may include:
- Helping to direct student volunteers in the unloading zones at the Quad and Donahue
- Accompanying/guiding new students and their families between the Quad and other areas of campus
If you sign up, you will receive a brief training session in advance of Move-In Days so you’ll be completely prepared to assist. We will contact you with your specific assignment one week prior to move-in.
Recommended to bring for your shift:
- Water
- Snacks
- Sunglasses/Hat
- Folding Chair
- Sunscreen
- Umbrella
- Your Golden Knight Cheer/Pep and Pride! (mandatory)
