Kathleen Kavanagh, Director of the Institute for STEM Education, Robert A. Plane Endowed Chair and Professor of Mathematics at Clarkson University
Abstract: Clarkson’s Institute for STEM Education supports student achievement, exemplary pedagogy, and K12 outreach. With a focus on engagement and workforce preparation, the expertise of faculty across disciplines and campuses have a space to create learning experiences and curriculum that support all undergraduate and graduate students to be successful beyond Clarkson. Faculty can make an impact on the local community through partnerships with local school districts. In this talk, opportunities for student engagement with Institute programming will be presented.
