The Writing Center is now fully staffed, offering over 60 consultations per week. Our hours are both in-person on the Potsdam campus and on zoom available to all campuses.
Please make an appointment through our Google Calendar which you can get to through this link, or the QR code which will take you to our website sites.clarkson.edu/cuwrite where you can get to our appointment page.
We accept walk-ins or zoom-ins once you have our zoom link and if the tutors are free. However, it all works better if you make an appointment. You can then cancel the appointment by simply deleting it from your calendar.
Sessions are 30 mins with a peer tutor. We can help at any stage of the writing process, including trying to decide what you want to write about. We can help with any kind of writing:
UNIV papers, Aero papers, lab reports, resumes and personal statements
Hours
In-person hours, held in Snell 139, are weekdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with some variation. Our zoom hours are early mornings, evenings and Fridays. See the specifics below.

Mon: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m
Tues: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wed: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
Thurs: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
Zoom hours
Daytime: Tues: 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. and Fri: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Evenings: Mon: 6:00 to 10:00 p.mm Wed & TH 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Sundays: 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m.
