Clarkson Research Associate Mahesh Reddy Nadiveedhi will present Efficient Metal-Free Multicomponent Synthetic Strategies for Different Bioactive Compounds
Multicomponent reactions are very attractive because of their efficiency and simplicity, appealing to pharmaceutical companies interested in rapidly accessing new medicines. MCRs became a preferred method in both academia and industries for the development of biologically active compounds due to their skeletal diversity, and easy and fast access. Interestingly, this process retains most of the atoms from the starting material in the resultant product in a single vessel. Further Metal-free reactions are often practical, as they are generally less sensitive to air and moisture. Hence Metal-free multicomponent reactions gained significant interest in recent years.
This talk will explore the multicomponent synthetic strategies for trifluoromethyl-thio(seleno)cyanation of Alkenes, α– Furfuryl-2-ethyl(methyl)aminophosphonates, Indolylpyrazolopyrimidines, 2-aminobenzopyran-4-ylphosphonates.
