Administrative Assistant- Chemistry & Biomolecular Science (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary:  Provide administrative support to the Chair and faculty members and students in the Department of Chemistry & Biomolecular Science across multiple focus areas: office administration and management, undergraduate academics, graduate academics, departmental budgets/financials, sponsored research financials, undergraduate workers, graduate program appointments, purchasing, visitors, faculty and staff hiring, annual, three-year and tenure faculty reviews and record keeping, departmental reports/records, organizational reports, events/workshops/projects, digital content, and other areas as assigned. Be responsive to administrative requests from the School of Arts and Sciences.

Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. 3-5 years administrative support staff experience.

Range: $ 16.22-$19.00

Assistant Director of Alumni & Affinity Engagement (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary:  The Assistant Director of Alumni Relations is responsible for planning and implementing programs and projects that strategically engage alumni for the benefit of the University.

Minimum qualifications: Associate’s Degree required with documented experience in higher education. A minimum of two years professional experience in event planning role(s) preferably in an academic or non-profit environment.

Range: $20.50- $25.64

Regional Chapter Engagement Officer (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary Guidelines: This role is responsible for cultivating and working with regional chapter and non-chapter alumni volunteers to plan events that build engagement and meaningful relationships amongst Clarkson graduates. The Regional Chapter Engagement Officer will develop, enhance and ensure the existence of effective and innovative programs (both in person and virtual) and communications to maintain the connection between alumni and the University and enhance their future as alumni participants, volunteers and donors.

Minimum qualifications: Associate’s Degree required with documented experience in higher education. Experience in the areas of institutional advancement, event planning, volunteer management or related fields such as marketing, management or communications.

Range: $20.50- $25.64

Network Engineer (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary:  A talented, passionate individual with the skill and desire to contribute to an outstanding IT team. This position provides technical experience as part of a team that proactively monitors, maintains and grows the technical infrastructure that supports the daily operations of the University. The Network Engineer reports to the Director of Network Services and Information Security.

Minimum qualifications: Completion of Bachelor’s degree or five years of related experience. Seven years of network administration or equivalent education.

Range: $65,00- $75,000

Position Summary Guidelines: Temporary two year teaching position in the Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Science during the 2023-2024 academic year, starting in the spring 2024 academic term.

Minimum qualifications: PhD in Chemistry or equivalent.

Range: $64,500-$70,000

Position Summary Guidelines: Involved with all aspects of video for the Women’s Hockey team, including but not limited to marking pre-scout, in game and post game video in accordance with coaches ask, follow all league policy regarding uploading and sharing game video, oversee analytical analysis of practice and games.

Position Summary Guidelines: CAARES is seeking a qualified individual to serve as an Analytical Chemist for the analysis of environmental chemical contaminants. The individual must have knowledge and experience with sample preparation (extraction/cleanup) as well as analytical instrumentation techniques including non-targeted analysis work flows.

Minimum qualifications: PhD in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences or related field

Range: $50,000- $60,000
