Graduate Admissions Counselor (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary Guidelines: The Graduate Admissions Counselor is the primary point of contact for prospective students from their initial interest until they are accepted into one of Clarkson’s Professional Graduate Programs. They guide interested prospects through the application process, and actively communicate with prospects to assure exceptional service. Internally, they maintain records of all interactions and manage related systems and processes as a prospect inquires, applies, and is accepted or rejected. The position may require some evening and weekend work, flexible hours and occasional travel.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required, 1 year, preferably in a sales, customer service, or other higher education role.

Range: $19.00-$21.00 salary based on experience

Graduate Coordinator (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary:  This position will coordinate all aspects of graduate study including assistance with the processing of applications, maintaining student records, and verifying graduate degree completion. This position will interact with many different areas both on and off campus in order to maintain accurate records for all current and former graduate students. This individual provides highly integrated administrative services, which support the academic goals of the graduate students. Occasional travel to other campuses is required (Potsdam, Capital Region Campus, or Beacon).

Minimum qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, liberal arts or the sciences plus three years of related experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.  At least three years of demonstrated experience and commitment to Customer Service.

Range: $18.00-$19.00 salary based on experience

Position Summary:  The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for all facets of Accounts Payable processing within the PeopleSoft Accounts Payable module. Timely and accurate processing of invoices, payment requests, employee reimbursements and student refunds is the primary focus of this position.

Minimum qualifications Associate’s degree from accredited College or University in accounting, finance or business administration or a related field of study, 4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Accounts Receivable Coordinator / Cashier (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary: The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible to monitor daily University banking activity and prepare related journal entries to record said transactions. Specifically, processing of non-student bank transactions, including deposits, ACH and wire transfers, grant payments and other miscellaneous deposits. This includes working with departments across campus to identify the purpose of payments received and the correct accounting string application of funds.

Financial Aid Counselor (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary:  This position works closely with the Director of Financial Aid and the entire financial aid team in all areas of the financial aid assistance operation to develop and implement financial aid policies, procedures, and initiatives which support the goals and objectives of the university and ensure compliance with federal, state and university regulations. In addition to student caseload responsibilities, this position has special emphasis on financial aid application processing, federal and school selected verification, c-code resolution, and the administration of alternative education loans.

Minimum qualifications High School Diploma with 5 years of financial aid experience, or Associate’s Degree with 2-3 years financial aid, or related, experience, or Bachelor’s Degree with 0-1 years of financial aid, or related, experience.
