Getting a New Phone?

The holiday season is a very popular time to purchase or receive a new mobile device. BEFORE you activate your new device, there are steps to avoid account lockout. The Office of Information Technology wants to help you prevent getting locked out of your Clarkson accounts especially during this important time of year. Please take the following steps to prevent account lockout.

Before you activate the new device, you will need:

  1. Your old device available and powered up;
  2. Login to a desktop or laptop computer; and
  3. You may also need a separate phone when calling for activation.

A Reminder: Help Desk Closure Dates:

Help Desk is closed when the University is closed. All inquiries received after hours can anticipate a response during the next regular business day. Please plan accordingly. 

2023 Holiday Closure Dates: 

  • December 22, 25-26
  • January 1, 2024

University Given Time Off Days: limited Help Desk support will be available for time-sensitive issues such as password or DUO resets.

  • December 20-21, 27-29
