International Student Stats – Spring 2024
Clarkson welcomed 92 new international students this term! (graduate, undergraduate, & exchange students)
Due to visa challenges, 80 have deferred to the fall 2024 term.
Total International Students at CU: 474 students from 57 countries!
Study Abroad Semester Programs
Application Deadline for Round 1 for fall 2024 or spring 2025 is January 28
The Application for Round 2 will open March 1 and close on March 31
There are also several Summer Opportunities for those who may want a shorter time away! Search CU Global!

International Student Recruitment Reminders
As the recruiting season begins please be mindful that students from certain countries may encounter delays in visa processing. While things may change over time, please keep this in mind when reviewing applications. (i.e. Bangladesh, Ghana, India, and Nigeria are some that come to mind.)
The US Department of State continues to make student visa applications a priority.
If there are limited visa interview appointment slots, please remind students that some US consulates provide expedited appointments.
The International Center is constantly monitoring the new challenges that arise and any new trends in the visa application process.
The International Center will be hosting several Pre-Departure sessions via Zoom. Please encourage admitted students to attend.
The International Center will be holding Zoom Open hours starting in March.
