Navigating Change Open to all faculty and staff. March 13-15, mini workshops and small group consulting.

Workshops

Workshop 1: Understanding Change

In this 90-minute workshop, participants will begin to explore the psychology of change through the lens of Wander Woman by Marcia Reynolds. The human response to change will be explored using insights from the book, and all participants will consider their emotional response to change. Journey mapping through the stages of change will be featured as the interactive position of this workshop. This workshop will be offered once, and all participants will receive a Kindle version copy of the Wander Woman book (Free to participants). One time offering.

Workshop 2: Thriving Through Change

This dynamic 90-minute workshop is tailored for those seeking to navigate uncertainty with confidence. Through interactive exercises and thought-provoking discussions, participants will learn proven strategies to bolster their resilience and embrace change as an opportunity for growth. From practical tools for managing stress to innovative approaches for harnessing change as a catalyst for success, this workshop equips educators with the mindset and skills needed to thrive in today’s ever-evolving academic landscape. This workshop will be offered twice. Offered two times.

Workshop 3: Values-Aligned Goal Setting

During times of change, goals must be aligned with values, but often typical goal-setting processes miss this key component. Using a series of micro-steps to achieve goals is often far more productive and helpful to achieving true change. Utilizing a simple and fun peak performance exercise from positive psychology, participants will connect with their core values and learn a technique to help bring their goals into reality. This 90-minute workshop will be offered twice. Offered two times.

Coaching

A total of five coaching session slots will be available to individuals and groups. Indicate your interest and availability in joining a coaching session in the registration form. These sessions will be driven by the individual or group’s agenda, completely confidential, and a way for Clarkson faculty and staff to access coaching services at no charge. All sessions must be signed up for in advance (no walk-ins) and are limited to a maximum of five people. Organizers will confirm coaching appointments prior to these sessions.
