4 Reasons You’ll Want to Join Us for Accepted Students Days!

Trust us: there’s nothing like the experience of attending an Accepted Students Day at Clarkson!

Today we’re sharing our top four reasons you’ll want to make sure you’re there with us either April 6 or April 13!

1. Feel the Spirit of Clarkson
We’ve said it once, we’ll say it again: the best way to know for sure if Clarkson’s the place for you is to come and feel it for yourself. There’s no place in the world like Clarkson, and we want you to experience it!

2. Win Free Books on Us for Your First Semester
Every student who attends an Accepted Students Day will be entered into a drawing during the Welcome at 10 a.m. each Saturday to win free books on us for your first semester if you attend Clarkson. You must be present to win!

3. Meet Your New Friends & Family
We design our events for maximum interaction, so you can start making connections with current students, faculty, staff and of course, fellow accepted students and families!

4. Get to Know Campus & the Local Area
Whether you’re from a mile down the road or across the country, there’s a lot to explore on our campus and in our surrounding community. Eat the food, explore downtown Potsdam, take a walk on one of our many outdoor trails, see inside our labs, boulder on the Munter Climbing Wall and so much more!

Get the most out of your Accepted Students Day experience with Journey into Clarkson & GE Leadership Day:

APRIL 5 – Journey into Clarkson is for prospective students who are first generation and/or from underrepresented populations at Clarkson to learn more about the Clarkson community and our unique resources. Transportation options are available to help students attend, too! It’s a great opportunity to start building relationships with Clarkson staff, students, and faculty.

APRIL 12 – GE Leadership Day is a special event where Clarkson University partners with General Electric to host an event for all accepted students. During this event, participants:

  • learn about leadership from successful GE staff who graduated from Clarkson.
  • make new friends and network with alumnae, staff and current students.
  • enjoy lunch, dinner and team-building activities on campus.
  • spend an overnight on campus with a current student host.
  • also attend Accepted Students Day the following day.

To register for GE Leadership Day, you must first register for the April 13th Accepted Students Day. Space is very limited.

Learn more about these and future events on our Accepted Students Events page.
