Amy Gouge, the Administrative Assistant for the Dept of Air, Space, and Cyberspace Studies was awarded the University Employee of the Quarter for the January to March quarter of 2019 by the Northeast Region Headquarters of Air Force ROTC. The Northeast Region of AFROTC includes 37 total Detachments. During this period, Amy was key to the success of the Detachment’s Shadow Day program which welcomed 25 prospective students to the Clarkson campus to shadow a cadet for a day. She has volunteered to coach the Detachment’s Basketball Team as they prepare for the annual game against the Army ROTC team. Additionally, she has been instrumental in revamping the Detachment’s tracking system for recruiting leads which has led to a sizable increase in contacts with potential recruits.
