NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program Information Session

Dr. Jon Goss, Director of Clarkson Honors Program & School, and Karyn Crispo, Clarkson’s new Associate Director of Scholarship Preparation, will be holding an information session regarding the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSFGRF) this coming Friday, September 13, from 3:00-4:00pm.  The session will be held in Price Hall Classroom, Room 2001.

“The NSFGRF program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported STEM fields who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees at accredited U.S. institutions.  Candidates are selected early in their careers based on their demonstrated potential for significant research achievements in STEM fields or STEM education. Three years of support are provided for graduate study that leads to a research-based master’s or doctoral degree in STEM or STEM education.  Eligible applicants are senior undergraduates, and first and second-year graduate students.”

Applications for the NSFGRF are due each October.  The information session is open to all interested in learning more about the NSFGRF opportunity.”The Foundation welcomes applications from all qualified individuals.  Women, under-represented minorities and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.  The fellowship is competitive, and those planning to apply should devote a sincere effort to their application.”
